Only the Hyprnux installer turns it on: on your own Arch it has no visible effect.

You give a full name (optional), a user name and a password of at least 8 characters. The account can use administrator rights and root stays locked.
Only when the installer encrypted the disk with a temporary passphrase: the assistant asks for your own. You can keep the temporary one, but the screen warns against it.
It appears only on a machine with no user account. After the last step it never appears again, even with the package still installed.
Each step is applied when you press Next, so a restart resumes at the first step not yet done. A half-made account is removed and asked for again.
The password is sent once and does not reach a command line, a file or the system journal.
Before you start. A machine with no user account, which is what the Hyprnux installer leaves.
Packaged for pacman, on Arch Linux. Add the Hyprnux repository once first: Install Hyprnux. On another distribution, build it from its sources.
sudo pacman -S hyprnux-firstbootIt does not run on your own Arch: only the Hyprnux installer turns it on. Installing it also pulls in dracut and adds a hyprnux-greeter group. With mkinitcpio, every kernel update then builds the boot image twice; the install guide shows how to keep one build.
The steps show on the Hyprnux login screen. If the setup service does not answer, a text assistant on the first console (tty1) asks the same questions. The assistant creates one account only. Wi-Fi and the look of the desktop stay in Settings.
sudo pacman -Rns hyprnux-firstbootIf something goes wrong, see the install guide.
